(Rev
2:7 NKJV) "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the
churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which
is in the midst of the Paradise of God."
(2
Tim 3:1 - 7NKJV) But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
(2) For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (3) unloving,
unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, (4)
traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, (5)
having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn
away! (6) For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives
of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, (7) always
learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Be
A Christian Warrior
(SEE
*******Special Note******* BELOW)
If
You Are Saved, You Have The God Given Right, As A Christian, A Child Of God, To
Become A Christian Warrior. You Have Available To You, The Total Power Of God,
To Transform You Into A Mighty Christian Warrior.
The
Following Three Points Are An Outline Of This Transformation.
1)
Make A Total Commitment To God.
(Mark 12:29 - 31 NKJV) Jesus
answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the
LORD our God, the LORD is one. (30) 'And you shall love the LORD your God with
all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your
strength.' This is the first commandment."
Your
first responsibility is to love God with your total being. This means that you
are to learn How To Love God The Way He Wants To Be Loved. (Rom 12:2 NKJV)
"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing
of your mind, (with God’s Word the Bible) that you may prove what is that good
and acceptable and perfect will of God." Some of this transformation may
come instantly, but much of this transformation will take place over many months
and even many years.
I have a
study on this site on how to "love the LORD your God with all your heart, with
all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength." Chapters
16 - 22 are a study on the spirit, soul, mind and body of man.
2)
The Death Of Self Will.
You
Have The Right And Responsibility of Death to Self Will. This Started
With Jesus, and continues with His body the Church.
(Mat
26:38 –39 NKJV) Then
He said to them, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death.
Stay here and watch with Me." (39) He went a little farther and fell
on His face, and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if it is possible, let this
cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will."
Just
as Jesus chose to die to His Self Will, He tells us to do the same. But as
with all things concerning our ability to obey God, it is Gods power that will
enable us to do and accomplish what He request of us. Just as Jesus
depended on the power of the Father to do all things in and through Him, we must
do the same.
(Luke
22:42-45NIV) "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my
will, but yours be done."(43 NIV) An angel from heaven appeared to him
and strengthened him. (44 NIV) And being in anguish, he prayed more
earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. (45 NIV)
When he rose from prayer and went back to the disciples, he found them asleep,
exhausted from sorrow.
Without totally depending on the mercy, grace and power of God, we can do
nothing. But in God through Christ Jesus we can do all He ask of us.
(Luke
9:23 – 24 NKJV) Then
He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny
himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. (24 ) "For
whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My
sake will save it."
The
previous verse does not necessarily mean the lose of physical life but that
which is stated in, (Gal 2:20 NKJV)
(Gal
2:20 NKJV) "I
have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in
me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of
God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."
It
is God The Father’s desire to take the "I" out of our existence
while on this earth and replace it with the reflection of, Jesus Christ, His
Only Begotten Son. Then we literally can do all things through Christ
Jesus who will strengthen us to be able to do His Will On This Earth.

3)
Gain Much Heavenly Treasure.
Heavenly
Treasure is obtained by being God Centered And Others Centered And Not Self
Centered And Things Centered. To Have Heavenly Treasure, Give Of Your
Self, Your Time And Your Possessions To the building of the Kingdom of God And
To needs of Others.
(Mat
6:19 –21 NKJV) "Do
not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and
where thieves break in and steal; (20) "but lay up for yourselves Treasures
in Heaven where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not
break in and steal. (21) "For where your treasure is, there your
heart will be also."
Every
life that you touch in the name of Jesus is a nugget of gold, silver or precious
stone in you heavenly account.
(1
Cor 3:11 NKJV)
For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus
Christ. (12) Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver,
precious stones, wood, hay, straw, (13) each one's work will become
clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the
fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is.(14 ) If anyone's work which
he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward.(15) If anyone's work is
burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through
fire."
Mat
25:34 – 46 explains works to do to obtain Heavenly Treasure. Also see
Mark 10:21 below)
(Mat
25:34 – 46 NKJV)
"Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of
My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the
world: (35) 'for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you
gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; (36) 'I was naked and
you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to
Me.' (37) "Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when
did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? (38) 'When
did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? (39)
'Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?' (40)
"And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you,
inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to
Me.' (41) "Then He will also say to those on the left hand,
'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the
devil and his angels: (42) 'for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I
was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; (43) 'I was a stranger and you did
not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did
not visit Me.' (44) "Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord,
when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in
prison, and did not minister to You?' (45) "Then He will answer
them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to
one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.' (46) "And these
will go away into everlasting punishment, (in the lake of fire) but the
righteous into eternal life." (Mark 12:31 NKJV) "And the
second, (Of All Commandments) like it, is this: 'You shall love your
neighbor AS YOURSELF.' There is no other commandment greater than
these." These commandments being Mark 12:29 – 31.
Now
look at what God pointed out about the results of salvation in the
following scriptures. In this passage we are not told how long Jesus
was in this home or a single word that Jesus said while He was there.
We are only shown the result of His teaching. If you look at other
passages where we are told the words that Jesus spoke, I think that it is
easy to see He is true to form while teaching in Zacchaeus' home.
(Luke
19:1-10 NKJV)
"Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. (2) Now behold, there was a
man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. (3) And he
sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of
short stature.(4) So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see
Him, for He was going to pass that way.(5) And when Jesus came to the place, He
looked up and saw him, and said to him, "Zacchaeus, make haste and come
down, for today I must stay at your house." (6) So he made haste and came
down, and received Him joyfully. (7) But when they saw it, they all complained,
saying, "He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner."(8)
Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord, I give half of
my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false
accusation, I restore fourfold."(9) And Jesus said to him, "Today
salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; (10)
"for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."
(Zacchaeus
starts with a 100% of all that he owns at the time of Jesus' arrived.
After entering Zacchacus' home, at some point Jesus started teaching I am sure,
that is what Jesus did, teach. How long He was there and what He taught we
are not told. But it is not hard to read between the lines here by looking at
the following statement made by Zacchaeus. "Look, Lord, I give
half of my goods to the poor." Lets assume that means half of all that
he had. So now Zacchaeus is at 50% of what he owned only a short time ago.
Then Zacchaeus makes the statement, "and if I have taken anything from
anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold." I am not sure how much
this could possibly be, but very possibly could be half of the 50%.
No matter what the actual end results was, what Jesus taught while in
Zacchaeus' home changed his prospective of what he thought was
important in life and what he chose to do with his material possessions.
Compare this with the rich young ruler and what we have is the same teaching
with two difference results.
To
Love God is to share God’s plan of salvation with others and to work to supply
the needs of others (AS YOURSELF) as diligently as you work to supply
your own needs.
How much more black and White Can God Make it.
Does
your life serve the affairs of this world or
God
and others
(2
Tim 2:3 –5 NKJV) (3)
You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. (4)
No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this
life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. (5) And
also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes
according to the rules."
Our
warfare, sharing our salvation and giving of all that we have to God and others.
Christianity
is not about getting,
but
self sacrifice through giving.
Do
It His Way (Compete According To His Rules.)
God
loves you and He wants you to become a working part of His eternal family. He
does require you to do all things His Way, which is found in His Word
the Bible. First through salvation and then through a total surrender of
your life to Him. In His Word the Bible you will find that His Mercy and
Grace is more than enough to help you endure and obey all He asks of you.

The
Four Points of
Walking
In The Spirit:
· Being Blessed of God
· Pure in Heart
· Bearing Much Fruit For God
·
Living A Life Style Centered On
Gaining Heavenly Treasure
· God’s Special Blessings To You,
God
has given you three special blessings,
-
your talents,
-
your time,
-
your
possessions.
As a Christian, when you are walking in the Spirit of God,
God will give you opportunities to
use these blessings to gain Heavenly Treasure.
In your giving, you will never be able to give more than God will Give
back. Why, For a Christian, gaining Heavenly Treasure is the reason God allows
you to stay on this earth. The only way you can gain Heavenly Treasure is
to have an abundance to give.
If you will search God's Word, God will reveal
this amazing truth concerning gaining Heavenly Treasure.
This truth will free you from the bondage of self-centered gain.
"He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the
churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which
is in the midst of the Paradise of God."
(Gal
5:16 NKJV)
"I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the
flesh."
A
problem arises when you allow satan and the propaganda of this world to confuse
you concerning how to use
·
your
talents,
·
your
time
·
your
material possessions.
When
walking in the flesh and not in the Spirit, the lust of the eyes, the lust of
the flesh, the pride of life and the force of greed causes you to use these
special blessings from God to obtaining earthly treasure over obtaining Heavenly
Treasure.
In
the world being blessed is having much worldly stuff, worldly things. In
the kingdom of God being blessed is having much Heavenly Treasure.
In
the kingdom of God, God will give you more earthly blessings than you can
contain, if He can trust you to use these earthly blessings to gain
Heavenly Treasure.
Unfortunately
when most Christians in the USA state that they are blessed, they are referring to
earthly gains rather that Heavenly Gains.
· Matters Of The Heart, Not Matters
Of Earthly Affairs And Material Things.
God
is interested in your heart’s reactions to every thought and occurrence in
your everyday life. If your heart is right, your needs, wants and dreams will
serve Him and others, not yourself and the lust for material things.
(Mat
5:8 NKJV) "Blessed
are the pure in heart, For they shall see God."
(Luke
6:45 NKJV)
"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an
evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the
abundance of the heart his mouth speaks."
(John
7:38 NKJV) "He
who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers
of living water." (RIVERS of living water??)
· By Your Fruits and Works You Will
Be Known And
Judged
(Mat
7:17-20 NKJV) (17)
"Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad
fruit. (18) "A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear
good fruit. (19) "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down
and thrown into the fire". (20) "Therefore by their fruits you
will know them."
What
does God think of this world and the things that are in this world that man has
made and so proudly displays?
(Rev 21:1 NKJV)
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the
first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.
I believe that this is saying that God
will wipe out every remembrances of the past.
All the stuff that man has made will
pass away. So the question is are you spending your time gathering that that
will pass away, or that will be apart of God’s holy city, New Jerusalem.
What is
important to God?
The Heart of
God Is To The Of redemption
Of The Lost
By The Blood of The
Lamb.
(Luke 15:7 NKJV) "I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
For we that
are saved,
He who
overcomes
Shall Inherit
All Things.
All things
made by the hand of God,
not the things made by the hand of man.
(Rev 21:2 NKJV)
Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven
from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
(Rev 21:3
NKJV) And I heard a loud voice from
heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will
dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and
be their God.
(Rev 21:4
NKJV) "And God will wipe away
every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor
crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed
away."
(Rev 21:5
NKJV) Then He who sat on the throne
said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write,
for these words are true and faithful."
(Rev 21:6
NKJV) And He said to me, "It
is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of
the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
(Rev 21:7
NKJV) "He who overcomes shall
inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
We are here to bring about this
redemption. We are here to redeem
men, Not Stuff.
God wants us to be full time involved
in redemption and use the material gains that we have to be a full time aid to
our redemption work.
God
knows earthly possessions and earthly wealth can give a faults sense of
security.
God’s warning to us,
makes
it very clear about the end results of those that let the things of this world
rule their lives.. (Rev 3:15 - 17 NKJV) "I know your
works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or
hot. (16) "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot,
I will vomit you out of My mouth. (17) "Because you say, 'I
am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'; and do not know that
you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked". (BE VOMITED???)
·
Heavenly Treasure
Again
Jesus makes it very clear about gaining Heavenly Treasure.
(Mark
10:21 NKJV)
Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing you
lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will
have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.".
